I for one am a huuuuuuge primate lover. I really hope this planet does become inhabitated by humanoid apes cause we can always use a baboon for president. Anways good news for gorillas, supposedly 125,000 more were discovered. 125,000??!??! thats alot we missed. After reading this article from National Geographic:

I read another article stating that this number may be grossly exaggerated. Apparently these scientists/conservationists that came up with these numbers did so y counting "gorilla nests"(if you didnt know gorillas make beds/nest to sleep in). However, some scientists believe that gorillas make NEW nest each time they sleep, which would indicate that the people that have counted these nest may have been doubling up their numbers. Dont get me wrong i want gorillas everywhere, fuck i think we need some in chicago!!!! But this number they have come up with may come down in the weeks to come.
